This painting was painted live in the open air art festival konstfestival in Lellingen, Luxembourg. The streets of this quaint village are filled with artists painting throughout the day, and the visitors are the judges! It was also Luxembourg's National Day, so I chose to paint roses because they are such an important part of the country's history. The visitors to this festival voted for this painting to award it the 3rd place!
